At Advantere School of Management, we are proud to announce that Blanca Gómez González has taken on a new role as Senior Advisor and Alumni Director. Blanca has been a key figure in developing and contributing to the growth of our school and shaping the way we do employability since the very early days of Advantere. Her new position reflects both her leadership and her deep commitment to the alumni community.

A Strong Commitment to Alumni

For Blanca, alumni engagement is more than a function, it is a long-term responsibility.

“A school must continue to support its alumni. Graduation should mark the beginning of a lifelong relationship, and we need to be there for them with career support, influence, learning, and recognition.”

The Advantere alumni network has already grown into a vibrant community over the past three years. Blanca highlights that alumni involvement is not only about maintaining connections, but also about “giving back to your alma mater” and creating a shared sense of belonging.

“Although it is true that we are a very young school, we are very proud that in the academic year we have just closed, almost half of our alumni contributed to the development of Advantere’s activities on one or several occasions. A true privilege.”

New Programs for Alumni and Students

In her new role, Blanca is launching initiatives designed to strengthen ties between alumni and current students. One key program is shadowing, where this year’s students will spend time alongside alumni in their professional roles.

“It’s critical, because nobody can provide this experience better than our alumni. They bring unique perspectives that truly enrich the student journey.”

Additionally, the alumni office will guide alumni through promotions and career changes, facilitate strong connections across geographies and industries, introduce short training sessions for early professionals, and complementary resources to support their ongoing growth within their organizations.

Alumni as a Pillar of Student Success

Blanca emphasizes that community is one of the key pillars that guarantee a strong education. Beyond faculty and academic content, alumni offer something irreplaceable: lived experience and real-world insights. Alumni mentoring, networking, and career support play a decisive role in preparing students for the future.

Gratitude to the Alumni Community

Alumni are at the heart of Advantere. Every time they mentor, connect, or support a student, they help strengthen a community that lasts beyond graduation. Their involvement is what makes the school more than a place of study: it becomes a lifelong network of growth, support, and shared purpose.

Looking Ahead

With her double role as Senior Advisor and Alumni Director, Blanca Gómez González will strengthen the bridge between students, alumni, and the professional world. Her leadership ensures that alumni remain central to the school’s mission: to educate leaders who make a positive and sustainable impact.
