In today’s rapidly evolving business landscape, sustainability and social impact in business education are no longer optional—they are essential. At Advantere, these values are not just part of the curriculum; they shape the way we teach, collaborate, and lead.
This month, Advantere School of Management released its new Sustainability & Social Impact Report 2024–2025. More than a summary of initiatives, the report offers a transparent view of how we measure what matters: real transformation in students, employees, and society.
A new kind of learning experience
We believe students shouldn’t have to wait until graduation to create impact. That’s why, from day one, they work on real-world challenges with organizations like tuTECHÔ, Moda re-, and ECCA Social—projects where affordable housing, workforce inclusion, and women’s reintegration are not abstract topics, but urgent realities.
Moreover, these collaborations don’t end in the classroom. A significant part of the students’ proposals are now being implemented, proving that sustainability and social impact in business education can drive meaningful, measurable change.
Purpose-driven leadership isn’t a trend—it’s a foundation
We don’t train students to adapt to the world as it is. We prepare them to reshape it. That means leadership isn’t just about decision-making, but about self-awareness, ethics, and courage.
Through initiatives such as Womantere, Bring-a-Bite, and Leadership Talks, students explore who they are and what they stand for—while sharing that journey with a community representing more than 20 nationalities.
Growing with the right partners
Impact doesn’t happen in isolation. That’s why this year, we’ve expanded our ecosystem of partnerships:
- A strategic alliance with the Observatorio de Impacto, led by Transcendent and Ontier
- Research with Impact Bridge on inclusive real estate models
- An immersive experience at Georgetown University, strategic partners of Advantere, focused on ethical leadership and sustainability
As a result, each of these alliances helps us push the boundaries of what business education can be.
This is only the beginning
The numbers are encouraging—93% employability, growing alumni presence in ESG roles, and contributions to 10 of the 17 UN SDGs. However, what matters most is the direction we’re moving toward.
We aim to drive more action in sustainability and social impact in business education.
