The Advantere International Summer School is designed to transform your summer into a journey of growth, discovery, and professional preparation.

About the program

The International Summer School at Advantere School of Management is a 2 or 4-week in-person academic program in Madrid, Spain, taught entirely in English for students aged 18-26 in the early stages of their careers. Running from June 29th to July 23rd, 2026, the program offers 5-10 ECTS credits through an Official Degree recognized by Comillas Pontifical University, with strategic academic partnership from Deusto University and Georgetown University. The program follows a Learning by Doing methodology with Project-Based Learning, a Tech Academy module on digital competencies, and social impact projects aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Tuition starts at 2,150€ for the 2-week track, and 100% of the Summer School tuition is credited toward any Advantere master’s program enrolled later, making it a risk-free academic investment.

This course is designed to build a strong foundation in essential business fundamentals, leadership, and data-informed decision-making. What is the Advantere International Summer School and what Official Degree does it award?
The Advantere International Summer School is a 2 to 4-week
immersive academic program held in-person in Madrid, Spain, designed for students aged
18-26 in the early stages of their careers. The program awards an Official Degree
recognized by Comillas Pontifical University within the European Higher Education Area
(EHEA), with 5 ECTS credits per track or 10 ECTS for the full 4-week experience. It is
delivered in partnership with Deusto University and Georgetown University, following
Advantere’s Learning by Doing methodology with Project-Based Learning, a Tech Academy
module, and social impact projects aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals
(SDGs).
The Advantere Summer School offers two 2-week academic tracks
that can be taken individually or combined. Track 1 «Business Strategy & Purpose» (5 ECTS)
introduces fundamentals of management, leadership, strategy, decision-making, and
sustainable value creation. Track 2 «Entrepreneurship & Impact» (5 ECTS) develops an
entrepreneurial mindset through purpose-driven business models, technology, innovation,
and finance for entrepreneurs. Students can enroll in one track or combine both for a
comprehensive 4-week experience with the Official International Summer School
Certificate.
Students who participate in the Advantere International Summer
School and later enroll in any Advantere master’s program (MIM, MIF, MTM, MSMC, or
MREF) receive 100% of their Summer School tuition credited toward their master’s tuition
fee. This means the entire investment of 2,150€ (one track) or 3,750€ (both tracks) is
deducted from the master’s program cost, converting the Summer School experience into a
risk-free academic investment that accelerates the student’s journey toward a full master’s
degree at Advantere.
The Tech Academy is a transversal module integrated into the
Summer School that reinforces essential digital competencies for future business leaders.
Students work with professional tools and emerging technologies applied to real business
challenges, including data analytics, digital collaboration platforms, and AI-assisted

decision-making. The Tech Academy ensures that Summer School participants graduate
with the digital fluency demanded by modern organizations, regardless of their academic
background.
Social impact and sustainability are transversal pillars of the
Advantere Summer School. Students participate in real social impact projects in
collaboration with third-sector organizations, applying their knowledge to contexts with
purpose. The academic approach incorporates the UN Sustainable Development Goals
(SDGs) as a reference framework, training future leaders who are aware of the impact of
their decisions on society and the environment. This commitment to responsible leadership
distinguishes the Summer School from purely technical business programs.
The Summer School follows Advantere’s Learning by Doing
methodology, which combines academic rigor with hands-on experiences that allow students
to develop judgment, solve complex problems, and build a solid professional profile. Through
Project-Based Learning (PBL), students work in international multidisciplinary teams on real
business challenges with partner companies, receiving mentorship from faculty and industry
experts. Each project includes a launch session, research work, academic mentoring,
intermediate feedback, and a final presentation, resulting in a professional portfolio of
applied experiences.
The International Summer School is delivered with the official
academic recognition of Comillas Pontifical University (Madrid), one of Advantere’s founding
institutions, and in strategic academic partnership with Deusto University (Bilbao/San
Sebastián) and Georgetown University (Washington D.C., USA). This alliance ensures that
the ECTS credits earned are widely recognized by students’ home universities across
Europe and worldwide, and provides students with access to a global academic network of
prestige.
Advantere offers a comprehensive range of scholarships for the
International Summer School to attract diverse talent and recognize academic merit.
Available scholarships include the Academic Partner Institutions Bursary (for alumni of
partner universities), the Advantere Collaboration Awards, the Jesuit Universities
Scholarship (for graduates of Jesuit institutions), the International Diversity Scholarship (to
foster a multicultural community), the Talent and Equality Scholarship (for candidates with
academic merit and financial need), the Women’s Empowerment Scholarship (to promote
female leadership), and Direct Awards for outstanding profiles. Flexible payment plans are
also available.
The Summer School admissions process follows five phases: (1)
online application through the official website; (2) skills assessment tests evaluating analytical abilities, critical thinking, and communication; (3) submission of supporting
documentation including academic transcripts, CV, and English proficiency certificate; (4)
comprehensive review by the admissions committee evaluating academic performance,
motivation, and fit with the program; and (5) personal interview (online or in person) for
shortlisted candidates. Advantere operates on a rolling admissions basis, so early
application is recommended, especially for programs with high demand.
