This week marks the official start of the 2024-2025 academic year at Advantere School of Management, and we are excited to welcome our new cohort of students! Participants in our three master’s programs—International Management, Finance, and Talent Management (HR)—have joined us for what promises to be a transformative year.
Welcoming the New Cohort to Advantere School of Management
The Advantere team, led by Juan de la Guardia (Managing Director), welcomed the new students warmly. During the orientation, Jaime Castello, Academic Director and Co-Director of the Master in International Management, explained the innovative learning methods used at Advantere. Moreover, Pedro César Martínez Morán, Director of the Master in Talent Management (HR), and Jorge Martín, Director of the Master in Finance, shared their plans for the year.
Additionally, Blanca Gómez, Director of Careers Center, Alumni & Corporate Relations, and Juan Ignacio Rossi, Manager of Careers Center, Alumni & Corporate Relations, emphasized the importance of networking. They encouraged students to leverage Advantere’s strong alumni network and career resources. This support will be crucial for students’ professional growth throughout the year.
Alumni Insights for the New Students
Three recent alumni also shared advice with the incoming students. Their insights will surely guide the new cohort:
- Nicolas Fernández García (Master in Finance ’23) urged students to make the most of the opportunities at Advantere, from the faculty to classmates.
- Fabiola Rodriguez-Berzosa Salsamendi (Master in Talent Management ’23) reassured students that it’s okay to explore different paths. Change is part of the journey.
- Pablo Mata (Master in International Management ’23) emphasized the benefits of the problem-based learning (PBL) method. He explained how it will challenge students and offer valuable global connections.
Building Community from Day One
At Advantere, collaboration and community are essential. Therefore, students participated in a team-building session with Gabriella Opaz, an Executive Coach. The session, alongside the lively Music Training Lab, helped students connect with one another. This set a positive tone for the year ahead.
Looking Ahead
We look forward to the growth, learning, and success this new cohort will achieve at Advantere School of Management. With the support of the faculty, staff, and alumni network, students will have access to numerous opportunities for personal and professional development. Welcome to the 2024-2025 academic year—it’s time for an unforgettable experience!
