The Visit of Arturo Sosa, SJ, to Campus Arrupe
Arturo Sosa, SJ, the Superior General of the Society of Jesus, recently visited the new Campus Arrupe. He was accompanied by the rectors of both universities, members of their teams, and the executive board of Advantere School of Management. Furthermore, the visit marked the start of a new era for collaboration.
Located at 39 Mateo Inurria Street in Madrid, the 8,000 square-meter Campus Arrupe is named in honor of Pedro Arrupe, the General of the Jesuits from 1965 to 1983. In addition, the campus is now fully operational, coinciding with the start of the 2024-2025 academic year. Built on land owned by the Society of Jesus, this modern building responds to the growing activities of the institutions it houses.
Academic Institutions
The Campus Arrupe brings together three prestigious educational institutions. First, the new postgraduate and lifelong learning school of Universidad Pontificia Comillas, which will be presented in the coming weeks. Second, the new headquarters of Deusto Business School, focused on Executive Education. Lastly, it is home to Advantere School of Management, a postgraduate management school founded by Deusto and Comillas, with Georgetown University as a strategic academic partner.
